New ULPBench Results Interface

EEMBC has modified the ULPBench web interface making it easier to compare results and view specific features (e.g. use of external DC/DC, active mode clock, compiler used).

Certified ULPBench from Analog Devices

For the first time, Analog Devices has published ULPBench results. These results, weighing in at 245.5 ULPMark-CP, are for the company’s new ADuCM302x series of ultra-low power microcontrollers (e.g. ADuCM3027 and ADuCM3029).

EEMBC @ Linley IoT Conference

At this year’s Linley IoT Conference, speakers will describe new chips, IP cores, and semiconductor technologies to address IoT, with an emphasis on security in edge nodes, networks, and gateways. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders, network with other designers, and attend an evening reception with sponsor exhibits and demos, where EEMBC will be exhibiting.

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Santa Clara on April 27, 2016. Registration closes on April 22 at 5 PM PT. Registration link: http://www.linleygroup.com/events/register.php?num=37.

EEMBC @ Internet of Things World

From May 10-12, Informa will host the Internet of Things World at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This conference and tradeshow will focus on monetizing the IoT revolution through bringing together ecosystem wide attendees, stakeholders and investors.

On May 11th at 4:50, EEMBC president Markus Levy will present on a panel to discuss “Providing Security in the Home”.

EEMBC @ IoT DevCon

Join EEMBC president Markus Levy at the IoT DevCon, taking place on May 25-26 at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency. With a focus on the practical implementation of IoT devices, IoT DevCon is designed for product developers and managers. Presentations will represent perspectives on how the IoT will affect business and product development, and present a look into the future of what IoT will bring. Registration for a 2-day conference pass is free to qualified attendees until April 10, 2016.

EEMBC presentations at IoT DevCon:

  1. ‘Connectivity Costs Associated with IoT’, co-presented by Markus Levy (EEMBC) and Brent Wilson (Silicon Labs), will discuss the energy requirements to connect an IoT device to the Internet.
  2. ‘Performance and Battery-Life Costs of Implementing Security in IoT’, co-presented by Mike Borza (Synopsys) and Markus Levy (EEMBC).
  3. EEMBC will be exhibiting at IoT DevCon, demonstrating its novel approach to measuring energy consumption for IoT devices.
